MITHI....do not believe in affairs and love. Though she blongs to an industry where link-up's and break up's is very common.... her perspective towards this is very different. she say's....."THE ONLY THING WHICH I BELIEVE IN IS COMMITMENT ,WHICH SHOULD TURN OUT TO MARRIAGE." ACTING CAREER

In 2002 ,MEETHI started her innings with a music video and from that day she never turned back.After that she commenced shooting for many oriya albums, tele-serials and ads and and and last but not the least one of the most successful and unbeatable ANCHOR of orissa. she has hosted many national level stage shows and concerts as an anchor and to add on she has shared the stage with many celebs like karishma kapoor,sunidhi chahwan,abhijeet sawant,babul supriyo,kumar sanu,mohammad aziz,celina jaitley,sonu nigam,mahima chahudhry,neha dhupia,chunkey pandey,jimmy shergil,amrita arora,arbaaz khan and the list goes on......she has even performed in around 50 stage shows (in and out orissa). Her first release as an actress was the movie JEEVAN MRUTYU(2005) .The film was considered an unusual launch for a newcomer, as her role called for only 45 minutes of screen time.However, she took a break of 3 years as she was very busy with her graduation .
Again in 2008,the cutie pie came back to the silver screen with a bang !!!!!! BALUNKESHWAR PRODUCTION gave her a thrashing oppurtunity to show her multi-dimensional talent in the movie CHATTI CHIRI DELE TU opposite anubhav mohanty,siddhant mohapatra,Raimohan parida,Bijay mohanty,Priyanka and Hara pattnaik.MITHI...steals the show with a sterling performance. Her scenes with anubhav are simplyoutstanding.She is being given full marks for her acting and dance.

EaRLY LiFe aNd BacKgroUnd

MITHI was born into a Hindu Oriya Brahmin family from Dhenkanal in orissa.Her father, C.D satpathy, is a senior bank manager.Her mother, Jyotsna satpathy is a house wife.She has one sister two year older to her respectively. MITHI, who describes herself as a tomboy as a child, has emphasised her CULTURE AND TRADITION as having a lasting impression on how family life is conducted. As a student, she developed a love for literature, particularly the works of William Shakespeare and poetryAccording to mithi, she enjoyed schoolwork and received good grades; in her free time she played sports, especially badminton.

MAJEDAAR INFORMATION: when she was a child she used to eat mud and chalk.

Completed her intermediate from ravenshaw college at the age of 18 ,further enrolled at IITTM.She then graduated college with an TOURISM degree. She started a postgraduate degree in journalism and mass communication.MITHI'S first television flick was a music video under sarthak production from then no one has stopped her way to success and stardom.

MAJEDAAR INFORMATION:Many will be surprised to know that she is a gold medalist in her graduation degree ,for which she had been feliciated by MINISTRY OF TOURISM ,DELHI.
